1. Nature of the Service

Elaf is a digital platform operated by Kayan Charity Association providing psychological and family counseling through certified specialists. The service is largely charitable, with some sessions offered for a nominal fee or as part of specific treatment plans.

2. Eligibility and Registration

• You must be 13 years or older. Users under 18 require guardian consent.
• You must provide accurate registration data and keep it up to date.
• Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.

3. Nature and Limits of Consultations

• Consultations in the app are not a substitute for emergency medical intervention. In emergencies dial 997 or contact emergency services.
• The specialist provides psychological and advisory guidance according to their certification and specialty. They do not prescribe medication unless licensed to do so.
• Session content is confidential between you and the specialist within the limits of law and public safety.

4. Booking, Payment, and Cancellation

• A booking is confirmed after payment (if any) is verified and before the scheduled time.
• Cancellation more than 12 hours before the session is fully refundable.
• No-shows are handled per the refund policy shown in the app.
• The full refund policy is available in the app before completing payment.

5. Session Recording

Sessions are recorded only after your explicit consent at the start of the session. You may refuse recording; in that case the session proceeds without a recording. Recordings — where they exist — are stored encrypted and are available only to you; the specialist does not share them externally.

6. Mutual Obligations

By using the app you agree to:

• Not use the service for commercial or marketing purposes.
• Not mistreat specialists or other users in the community section.
• Not attempt to hack or scrape data from the app.
• Not post content that is abusive or violates Saudi regulations in the community section.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights to app design, interfaces, and written content belong to Kayan Charity Association. Copying or republishing without written permission is not permitted.

8. Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide a reliable, continuous service, but the app is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it is free of technical errors. Our maximum liability — as far as law allows — is limited to amounts paid during the preceding twelve months.

9. Suspension of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict your account temporarily if we observe a breach of these terms, with notice where possible.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
